Answer questions regarding discharge planning, next steps, and one-on-one conversations with Social Workers and Case Workers.
Support family members, caregivers, and patients by offering one-on-one personalized services, attending Health Care Team Meetings (when geographically feasible) or via teleconference, asking the necessary qualified questions, and delivering patient education.
Provide guidance to physicians and individuals when creating medical director review cases to overturn denials.
Educating individuals on the differences between generic drugs and brand name drugs to ensure the patient is able to have an informed conversation with their physician as they discuss not only the cost implications, but also the quality and efficacy of the drugs.
